    Hopkit / Reference

    Artwork and licenses

Sources and notices for Hopkit's characters, terrain, sound and original code.

Hopkit’s original code and documentation use the MIT license. Keep that notice with redistributed source. New game content belongs to its author.

    Characters and terrain

The homepage and Pocket Trail guide use artwork from Kenney’s New Platformer Pack, licensed under CC0 1.0. The artwork is distributed with the original notice and a file manifest recording source names, dimensions and checksums.

The guide’s jump and collection sounds come from the same Kenney pack. The checkpoint includes their source record and original notice under public/art/.

    Game source downloads

Overtime uses Kenney’s Tiny Factory 1.0, released on 8 September 2026 under CC0. Its unmodified sprites, original license and file checksums are included under public/art/overtime/ in the source download.

Each game’s source ZIP carries its artwork notices, dependency licenses and portable runtime packages. Read those notices before replacing assets or redistributing a modified game. A CC0 art license does not remove the separate MIT notice on Hopkit’s code.

    Homepage rendering

The interactive portal uses vgpu with authored shaders and the same Kenney artwork. Its original dependency notices are included with the website. Games use the separate Pixi-backed Hopkit runtime.
